Vlog: The Road to Publishing a Children's Book

Today I learned about the Google Search Stories Tool on YouTube from Greg P.'s blog The Happy Accident.  He created a video to support the libraries, which is an awesome idea.  I haven't done that yet, but I did manage to create a video showing the steps involved in getting a children's book published.  It's extremely simplified, and doesn't include ingredients such as blood, sweat, and tears, but, hey, I was limited to seven searches.

Cool!

It's a pretty fun tool (even if it does promote Google/YouTube). I think with some real crafting, we can tell surprisingly strong stories - like their super bowl ad did. I'm sure I'll play with it more... in no small part because it was SO easy.

Beverley, How much fun! I see your sense of humor in this. Great.

Thanks, Greg. I'm sure I'll work on some more videos, too, although it's helping Google. I've been uncomfortable with being apart of advertising ever since reading MT Anderson's Feed.
